Artsweek 2012 Call for Submissions
Deadline for submissions: Friday, June 22, 2012
Artsweek Peterborough is a multi-disciplinary showcase of the arts created in 2005 with the aim of providing opportunities for arts, culture and community to intersect. In 2011, Artsweek refreshed its programming structure; focusing on assisting producers make and present high-quality work for a wide range of audiences and participants. This change allowed Artsweek to allocate more funding for artistic production and increase the amounts granted to producers, which in turn supports better presenting conditions for artists.
Applications may come from cultural producers, curators, and other presenting organizations. Artists may not self-produce.
Definition
of a ‘Cultural Producer:’
The person, organization, or collective that is ultimately responsible
for the production, including arranging for publicity, rehearsal or working
spaces, performance or display spaces, advertising, or any other concerns
