Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF)

Submit your 1-minute silent film to the 6th annual Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF) and have it seen by over 1 million daily commuters who ride the Toronto subway system.
Named one of MovieMaker Magazine’s “20 Coolest Film Festivals” (2010), TUFF is an 11-day long celebration of the art of the urban silent screen. TUFF films screen at 10 minute intervals on the Pattison Onestop network of digital platform screens throughout the Toronto subway system and continuously at special “Film Zones” at key downtown stations.
TUFF is open to Canadian and international artists, pays artist fees ($50 CDN per film) to selected filmmakers, and awards thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
Guest judge for the 6th annual Toronto Urban Film Festival is acclaimed documentary filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal (“Payback”, “Manufactured Landscapes” “Let It Come Down: The Live of Paul Bowles”)
