Self-promotion for the Artist and Curator: Power of the Internet is a workshop geared towards artists and curators with little or no experience representing themselves online. There’s no denying that the internet has become an integral part of our lives both personally and professionally. With increased access and a variety of web-based platforms for communication available, having an active online presence is essential for maximum exposure. If you’re looking for ways to use the internet to increase media attention for your work and broaden your audience, to learn new ways to share your work, or if you are just curious to see what’s out there, this is the workshop for you!
Bridget Indelicato has worked for over a decade in Toronto’s non-profit visual arts sector as a gallery administrator, writer and copy editor. Her professional development workshops are geared towards artists and curators of all media, arts educators and post-secondary art students. Visit www.editorb.com for more information.
