There is a reason for the major lack of posts on the Electric City Art Lodge over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been on vacation. We’ll I’m back now and trying to get caught up. Usually, any time off from the 9 to 5 I get I tend to spend working in the studio but this year we decided to get away from it all and rented a small cottage on the coast of Nova Scotia. I got to catch up on some reading, doodled, did some sightseeing, drank beer and ate lobster. Great times.
The view from our cottage.
Lunenburg
Peggy’s Cove
While in Lunenburg, a really interesting little port town about 90 minutes south of Halifax, we came across a great little shop, Dots and Loops. Dots and Loops is full of handmade goods and artists prints. I was very excited to pick up a few prints from a Canadian artist who currently resides in Lunenburg, Sarah Burwash, who’s work I really felt captured the spirit of the area. For a special check it out I’ve posted some of Sarah’s work below.
Check it out;
