“Pressed” A Print Show & Sale By The Electric City Art Lodge

From wood block printing to the printing press, silk screening to xerox and ink jet printers, printing processes have been used and revised by artists for centuries to make multiples of their work. ‘Pressed’ brings together several local artists each having adopted one or a combination of these methods in thier own practice.
The tools may change whether carving or pushing pixels and vectors, the aesthetics and messages vary but the aim of all is the same, to have the ability to create multiple copies of their images or text.

Featuring work from;

Peter Baron, Patrick Moore, Michael Poulton, Jeffery Macklin (Jackson Creek Press), We Live Here Too, Jonathan Hall, Steppenwill, Zack Wood & Lyall Brownlee

The work will be installed in the project space and the mudroom at ARTSPACE (378 Aylmer St N, Peterborough, ON) from December 9th to the end of the month.
